The 965 from Riedell features all leather uppers with soft suede-like inner lining. Less like a traditional speed skate boot and influenced by one for hockey, it has a low, foam padded achilles to cup the heel and offer less irritation and blistering. The raised toe box gives a more roomy feel and the second set of lace eyelets at the ankle provide a more snug fit and help keep the heel seated in place. Like most padded boots, with time the padding inside compresses leaving more space and a less accurate fit. We recommend getting a very snug fitting boot from the start; we've found you can safely go down at least a half size from what the sizing chart puts you at.

Widths include standard D/B for average to wide and B/AA for more narrow foot types. * B/AA are non-stock and can  take 3-4 weeks to be made, no custom charges apply.
